that doesn't suprise me. i think he is a great young coach and it is time for him to branch out on his own. if he goes i wish him the best of luck.
with coach g's dad the AD at USA this makes the USA an interesting coaching search and canditate list. peterson has been talked alot about being a head coach for a few years now, so i wouldnt be surprised if he got a usa offer and accepted it.

problem with all our basketball coaches is they all think they are a whole lot better than they really are. and the basketball team suffers because of it!
Coach Pearson arrived in Mobile last night and is going to interview for the USA job today.

The word out of Mobile is that Bobby Lutz, head coach of Charlotte, is the leading candidate for the USA job. Supposedly, Lutz will take the job if offered. The Lutz hire would fulfill Joe Gottfried's desire to get a proven head coach. Lutz led Charlotte to the NCAA tournament 5 times in the last 9 years.
