Photo thread - Part III

  • A very merry Christmas to you and your family from all of us at TideFans! Be safe and be blessed!
I keep several types and sizes of ladders at my place and took my fiberglass extension over to Mom's this morning to prune her Queen Palms. Not until I was finished did I notice this little guy hanging out inside one of the rungs.

My ladders are all kept outside so I'm sure he was in there the entire time!

Was VERY happy to get him back home!

I think I've mentioned here before I have a family of Florida Box Turtles living on my property.

Very common occurrence for anyone who has foliage cover that they prefer. In fact, I saw one down at one of my monthly accounts this morning underneath some shrubbery as I was pulling out a large Oyster Plant weed.

Anyhoo.....I have been leaving food for mine here. Lately it's been red seedless grapes. I put a handful into a large jar lid - that serves as a low lipped dish to hold the grapes.

This week has been a challenge, as first I had a resident juvie possum nabbing them, and then after I relocated him, it was one of the neighbor's cats. I like having the cat around to help with rodent control so devised a new tact I only take the grapes out in the mornings as opposed to before going to bed.

Success! (not sure why my time/date stamp is off - I just reset it the other day!)

This was just before I left to go do some work.......

Another one who lives on the other side of the walk makes the scene and finished them off.....lol....

Looks like you've got a couple of Crocs living on your property also. Better be careful. LOL

Being in the medical industry, I don't have to tell YOU how many folks in your field wear them!

I wear mine a couple days a week just to provide a different foot bed for my feet. I've been wearing Crocs now for more than 10 years - all different styles - super comfy.

Here's a pic of mine and my Mom's feet I took last Friday while visiting her at her ALF. Those are new Croc flip flops on mine and some I found on Amazon (not Croc brand but similar) I got Mom when she was in a SNF last year. This is her second pair. I thought she'd like the purple color and butterflies. She did and they've been a big hit. I'd never bought women's shoes before so am happy it worked out.....
