Lots of high scoring predictions in this thread. Recent history suggests a lower scoring, fist fight game. Maybe this time is different. Not really sure how to look at this game. Tua is without a doubt the best QB Alabama has had but this is the best defense and toughest road game he's seen.
Bama has had good offenses in the past, but I’m not sure anything was close to this one in its ability to score and score quickly.
He saw Georgia’s defense in January; overall it was much better than LSU’s.

LSU looked good on offense against UGA but that's really it. They're averaging 28.2 ppg and 383 ypg in SEC play. Burrow hasn't thrown a TD since September. Bama is averaging 53 ppg and 564 ypg in SEC Play.

The only way this game stays close for long is if Bama turns it over a lot. LSU has the same old boring offense as they have had for over a decade. They're opportunistic and make you pay for making mistakes. Their defense is good, but not nearly their best. This isn't 2011.

Bama wins 38-17.

I want to point out few things to those who thinks thegame will be close this year.

1. Last year we had Jalen Hurts and LSU was the gamewhere he threw 11/24 for 183 yards completing 45 percent. This year we have Tua. He will not complete 45 percent. I believe the team left points on the field, otherwise it would've been a blowout by 3rd quarter. 2016, We had Jalen as a freshman, he was doinglot of running in that game, 20 carries for 114 yards, but threw 107yards. I believe Kiffin didn't call realgood game that night. We left points onthe field as well.

2. Miami, Auburn, Miss State and Georgia: Their QBs this year has struggled for the mostof the season. Not just against LSU, butother team. I left Ole Miss out becausetheir QB is good, but they have horrible defense.

3) Joe Burrow is an average QB at best. He is not going to hurt you with his arm, buthe will make plays once in a while. Hedoes not handle the pressure well. In the last three games, he has thrown for 0touchdowns and 3 interceptions. He iscompleting less than 56 percent. Onething You will notice is that he will take off and run. He's averaging between9 to 13 attempts per game. The last threegames were Florida, Georgia and Miss State, so if you take away lesson learnedfrom those games, We will be fine. Whatwe want to do is take away the run game, and force Joe to play the passing gamewith Tua.

Read the quote:
" Florida: five sacks, 11 tackles for loss.

LSU: no sacks, two tackles for loss.

"We didn’t win the line of scrimmage,” LSU coach EdOrgeron said. “They had many more sacks, many more tackles for loss than wedid. We had too many turnovers. We just didn’t get the job done.”

Florida’s aggressive defensive front was no secret.Orgeron had said in the Monday leading up to the game that “this is going to bethe best defense we faced so far this year.”

So far, it was."
If that's the best defense they faced... then we are waybetter than Florida.

All the ESPN and sports talking heads keep saying a heisman winner must have a heisman moment, this weeks is Tua's. He plays into the 4th qrt for first time. He will go off on their D and show he is that good against even top defenses. They score little as we shut down the run and they are not a passing team. Score on first drive to keep that record going. Bama rolls as they have all yr. 45- 16
If that's the score, Tua won't be playing in the 4th quarter. which I am would love! Roll Tide!
