Pick the score: Alabama vs. Mississippi State

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! I'm not a concern about a letdown against State as I with the injuries.

With that said, I could see State being feisty but ultimately they will go away.

Miss State's entire offense is Fitzgerald. Stop him and they're done!
Bama 48 -12
Depends on which Fitzgerald you get. The one that threw dimes last weekend or the one that missed receivers by a country mile against LSU! I hope the D understands what they are against and are up to the task. There is always an LSU hangover / letdown this week. 33-17

Mississippi State - 6

I think we get back on track offensively, and the defense should have a lot of confidence coming off of Saturday night's performance in Red Stick.

Thank goodness this is a home game. We are tired, banged up, really the usual for a Miss State contest.

I think we will be hard pressed to find running room. Tua torches them. Waddle scores on ST, Surtain gets his 1st pick six.

37-17 Bama.

I hope Bama can get through the game with no more injuries. Seems we have at least one to a starter each game. Miss State will be tough and physical. Glad we don't have to worry about cowbells.

I can't see them scoring more than 14, and even those would come on busted plays. In other words, I don't see them putting together any drives on our defense.

I do respect their defense, and expect them to probably be a tougher challenge than LSU was. In the end, however, keep Tua upright and they aren't going to keep us from scoring. I do expect us to take a bit longer than usual to get going. Maybe we don't score 50 this week. But in the end, we will finish them off as expected.

37-10. (Yes, I am predicting a missed XP, but one successful FG, and 5 TDs).

I am going the "closer than we would like" route and say......

38 - 13

I hope I am wrong......

I want to see us put 48+ on the board.

MSU QB struggles on 3rd down and 10... keep pinning them deep and make sure to blitz him on 3rd downs... and we will be okay. I will call this game given how we played, and most players didn't play for 4th like we did last year.... we will be ready this time. 58-10

State has a tough team and I think that after nearly losing to them last year will have our guys fully focused (at least I would hope). I think the final ends up looking similar to Missouri. 38-10, 41-10, 42-10. On paper, that should be how it plays out.
