I didnt see some players who i expected to get time. Corey Grant comes to mind as wel as Blake Sims. I know it's early but who do you think will get the RS that you may at one time thought would see action.

Given our depth at LB, I thought Mosley was a lock to redshirt. I don't know, everyone who I thought would play did.
Might as well let Mosley play three full years instead of putting the shirt on him, because he's gone to the big leagues after his three years are up. The kid is good. Real good.
He played. He was one of the SJSU QB's favorite receivers, except he couldn't come up with the catch either time.
Other than that, he was solid.

Fowler was on kick coverage, so he's not redshirting.
In his post-game CNS said Sims could've played and was ready to play, but he didnt want to burn the shirt, so it sounds like Sims is progressing, but we're not gonna have him in the same class as AJ unless AJ or GMac gets hurt.

Yep; he played very well in our D. Had two near picks, but most importantly, he seemed to be in the right position most of the time.
FIFY. I didn't see Hubbard play, not sure on Vogler. The reception wasn't great, but I don't remember seeing Jarrick or Perry play last night. Anyone see them? I thought at least one would get PT b/c we'll need that depth later on.
So many are able to play. It's good problem to have. I think Brandon Ivory might still be in the mix.
At one point I thought I saw a bulked up Jarrick. Then I thought maybe I'm mixing him up with a slimmed down Chavis. Now I'm thinking I am thoroughly :conf2:. I didn't see Kouandjio who I thought was higher on our depth chart than a couple who did play. Maybe we (and he) want him to redshirt and start playing when his brother arrives.

Jarrick played on special teams and so did Tana Patrick. Several freshmen were on special teams.
I don't think Milliner or Kouandjio played either did they???..Possible RS's if they didn't yesterday as well..
Anyone think Philip Simms will take a shirt? Without him doing so at some point, I'm not sure he may ever beat out AJ for the starting job.
CNS is not afraid to play Sims, but unless Gmac or AJ gets hurt I think he will hold the RS The injury situation would hold Arie on the RS. I wish CNS would let Grant or B Sims handle the punts and let Trent stay at RB. I guess Michael Bowman is in the same doghouse as BJ Scott.
That's the plan. The only way he doesn't is if injuries warrant it. There's no point in having 2 qb's in the same class.
