I am a HUGE Bama fan (my office is covered in crimson and white - mostly because I'm married to an Aub) and am one that doesn't smack talk either. None of the Aubies in my office heard anything from me the last 2 years about the Iron Bowl or the SEC championship or the national championships. We can talk rationally about football. Well...on Monday, I had a Bama co-worker say something across the hall to me about the *U t-shirts or something...I responded back by saying I'd seen on Facebook "Gotta second? Yes, we have a second, third, fourth,...fifteenth!" Apparently, that set off one of the Aubies next door (who hasn't been working with us long enough for *U to have beaten us) because he proceeded to blare out the final call of the game from his phone at full volume. A few minutes later, he yelled something down the hall that I presumed to be directed at me. I couldn't believe how sensitive he was about his team winning. Good grief! Had to laugh!
