I was there. Had a great time. All decked out in purple, gold, and Mardi Gras beads. My club level seats just happened to be in the midst of bunches of the orange-clad minions. Loved it when LSU finally took the lead and then finished with the win. Ive got an incredible streak going when I attend UT v anyone but Bama (4-0) and it remained in tact yesterday!

I was disappointed, though, that it seemed that so many of the LSU folks had sold their tix after their loss to R-kansas. The crowd was terribly tilted in favor of the Vols--at least 65/35 and maybe even 70/30. Way too much roadworker orange for my taste.

Always fun to go watch rivals play each other while supporting your team. I went and watched the Barn Thugs SECCG a couple of years ago. I was of course decked out in my Crimson, including face paint.

It will always be that way, Vol fans are very loyal and Atlanta is a short drive for a lot of them.

Congratulations on the chance to win the nc. The tigers were lucky that the dawgs were not your opponent in the game. I don't think they could won the game against the dawgs with the lineup the tigers had on the field. Defense won the game, but that's also what it takes to win championships.

Correction: Vol fans are very loyal when things are going well. All the vile fans I know are some of the most fairweather fans out there. I think the main reason there were so many puke orange shirts in the crowd was due to the fact that ATL isn't far from most of them, like you said.
