Just heard on Finebaum that Nick Fairley will NOT be suspended. Way to cower to the Barn. Sometimes I think Mike Slive doesn't care how an SEC team wins, just that one does. You stay classy SEC.

i noticed the helmet to face thing when watching the game and couldn't believe the ref's let them get away with something that blatant, but i think the chin bandage actually came from a (non-dirty)play soon after that. when murray was being tackled after a run for about 8 or so yards he fell forward and his chin landed directly on the heel/sole of a barner's shoe. i was thinking he was going to be knocked out from that.

The country does not sound too pleased with #90.

Lot of folks are pretty upset right now. The guy who runs the website SportsbyBrooks was just on radio and he sounded pretty disgusted.
For full disclosure, Brooks, although he's based on the West Coast, is a UGA grad. It bears noting, though, as Jangalang (jangalang, jangalang) just said, every panelist on Around the Horn today (Tim Cowlishaw [Texas], Woody Paige [Denver], Jemele Hill [Detroit], and Bob Ryan [Boston]) all said that what Fairley did was dirty and that he should be suspended.

I heard today that he's good to go. I haven't verified it yet...
