Wow! This came out of nowhere. Is this someone who has held an AL offer? or did we just offer him?
RTR in any case. i guess Winston committing to FSU opened up a spot for Alec.

Just watched his film. Very impressive. Good feet. good touch on the short and long passes. Decisive. Decent speed. Good pocket presence. Not to mention his tall build. he's not Winston, but this guy isn't playing baseball either. could be the sleeper of the class.

I won't name names, but some posters on the Jameis Winston thread were going on and on about how they were disappointed in our staff and that they were getting outworked. I humbly respect your opinion....but..

Doesn't seem as much of a runner as Colt to me. Looks like a traditional pocket passer with some mobility inside the pocket...But I'm saying that off of 5 minutes of video. I have to look at more before I can speak with conviction.

looks pretty impressive. Did we just got ourself a Colt MCcoy?

"Blogger So Dear" had this to say .....not verbatem he committed to WF july 22, making him their 3rd committ. Scout rated him as a 2 stat and ESPN and rivals 3 star. They have him listed 6'4" 235. One of his assets is accuracy.

You have to love this kid's size! Just shows once again too that Nick always has a plan and contingencies for any situation.

Bobmack is right too about his accuracy--last year Alec completed 61% of his passes and had an unbelievably good td pass/int ratio.

Accuracy is the most important trait for a QB IMO. I'd rather have one that doesn't have a huge arm, but that completes a high percentage of his passes than one who can throw it 70 yards but can't hit theside of a barn.

Well all the talk that Alec Morris was Bama's top QB prospect after Winston committed to FSU turned out to be very accurate. One thing we didn't know is that Morris already had a Bama offer before Winston made his announcement. Now the question will be is Bama going to go after a second QB and if so who will it be?
