QB Nick Fanuzzi (video)...... Wow

With a name like Nick Fanuzzi, you'd have to figure he'd take to the Alabama mafia like a fish to water. :biggrin2:

no doubt

as someone else said....fanuzzi with the uzi arm

I'll never understand why people put those videos on YouTube when they're on SunshinePreps for free anyway...

But aside from that, he looks like a good one.

He and Marve are both very similar QBs, but the reason I like Fanuzzi maybe a little more is his size. He's much bigger than Marve and he moves just as well if not maybe a little better. We couldn't have gone wrong with either one IMHO, but it certainly appears as if we've got our man now!!! Welcome to the Capstone Nick!!!!

He looks like a young man with a lot of poise in the film. I would have liked to see an entire game.

He looks to have good size and a strong arm.

Welcome to Alabama Mr. Fanuzzi.

Roll Tide:biga2:

I think Marve looked better.... then again, what do I know...

I trust our coaches on this on this one.

I agree and trust the coaches, obviously. Fanuzzi did not impress me that much in the Army All American game, but that is of course one game.

I honestly think this years QB will have limited playing time in his career unless their is an injury.

Dont get me wrong, I think Fanuzzi is a great pick up, and really like the fact he wants to be here. :BigA: :BigA:

the thing about this qb, or if was marve, is that there was about a 100% chance they will redshirt this upcoming season. with jpw starting the next 2 years and mcelroy pushing him, i just dont see a true freshman getting into the qb rotation.

IMHO, and in trying to keep in line with rule #1 will attempt to make a statement that is not negative toward a recruit.

With that said, it seemed like Marve liked the "me" factor of a "Player's" coach. For instance, when speaking of the UM coach, he went on a short tirade about how nice the coach was and "got water for us." He made a comment about Shula, to the effect that he made him feel like the best player. Also, I think this Marve-Fanuzzi situation may also be an interest shortage on our side. We have said before that Saban is a great evaluator of talent, and this may be our first time to see it with Alabama. Before Saban, Marve was probably our biggest recruit. We got a goody, and like you all have said I trust Saban's evaluation skills. Saban likes big QB's from what I can remember at LSU too.

Roll Tide fellas we got a goody no matter what!!!
