Question about Spurrier's recruiting

Hey whats up guys, I live close to the Haleyville area and was told of this little occurence last week. I cant remember his name but a recent signee with USC from Haleyville was called to the principal's office right before signing day. The recruit walks in to see Mr. Steve Spurrier sitting in the principal's office. So Spurrier talks to him and offers him a ride to USC. The recruit looks indifferent so Steve asks, "Do you have a girlfriend" ? Sure the recruit says and she is called to the office. Steve then offers his girlfriend a free ride to USC then the recruit agrees to sign. My question being is this illegal under NCAA rules to offer a ride to the recruit's girlfriend ?

the only d1 player to sign from haleyville was the batchelor kid that signed with ga tech i believe. if one signed with usc id like to know his name.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and what were the draw backs about heath batchelor that he didnt get an offer from bama. this kid is huge.

Old urban legend that's been around for decades and has been applied to many coaches, including one Bear Bryant many moons ago.

Heath signed an LOI with USC.

As to the "draw backs" with Heath...just to name a few...Smith, Pharr, Ross, Motley...

He simply isn't in the same league as those we signed on the line.
