Did they impose the ban before the season ? Or after they saw they were already underwater recordwise ?

it was during the season at some point. I don’t recall the details. But, they did win some favor with the ncaa playing in last years bowl game despite having a depleted roster.

LSU was 3-5 when they instituted the ban.

Say what you want about us instituting our own ban in basketball last year, but at least we did it before the season began lol.
