I dont watch much pro football - do these announcers and talking heads suck this bad at that too, or is it just college football?

I was actually sitting here thinking how much I had enjoyed Fox broadcast of their 3 college games so far this year...I think they have done a MUCH better job than Musberger and co at ABC...I'm glad to see the BCS has moved to Fox...Tomorrow night is Terry and Howie...SHould be good

JMO, though

I enjoy the change of pace as well., abc/espn almost has a monopoly on college football, would like to see fox more involved.

At halftime the host of the "All Access" halftime show said there would be a press conference tomorrow at 10 AM to announce his decision. My wife and I looked at each other and frowned. Heck, even SHE knows that's wrong. :)

However, I really emjoyed the team that did last night's game. Barry Alvarez was really good and had a lot of insight that the normal talking heads never would, particuarly in the rushing game.

Regardless of how good or bad the booth is, the audio feed that I am getting is horrid. The play by play is barely audible over the crowd mikes and I know the stadium isn't that loud because I can see empty seats everywhere.

Side note: Don't know if anyone else caught it or not but before kickoff when they were broadcasting from field level a bunch of young cheerleaders had taken to the field to perform some dance number before kickoff. What song comes on for them to perform to? None other than "Sweet Home Alabama". Kind of apropos with the game in Miami and supposedly Plan B on either sideline. :biggrin2:
