Questions about Milroe.

Took a sec and went back too look at Milroes recruiting profile on 247.
Found that kinda interesting

Yeah, I think it is telling seeing how much we absolutely roasted Tommy Rees. Yet as this season has played on we have morphed into running a very similar offense as he had to do with Milroe. Seems like there's a common denominator in those situations isn't it? We probably owe Rees an apology.
What I don’t understand is why two coaching staffs in a row have continued to stick with Milroe, when it’s clearly not working. Just cut your losses and move on.

I can rationalize CKD starting Milroe through the Tennessee game. I cannot rationalize it moving forward. It's time for a change. Sark benched Ewers in the first half of the UGA game for not playing well.

Not sure how much , if at all; Milroe's health is having any effect. I can't remember the play; but he came up gimpy in the first half against S.C. and seemed off from that point in that game?

I have absolutely no faith that a change will be made. We tried it last year and it was a near disaster. Many of those players are still here.

Let’s not do this…there was no report of an injury heading into the TN game. He was not limping. He was not shaking his hand or arm. He played a very bad game because he’s not a good quarterback. Simple as that.

Oh, I know, but my question still applies. The Supreme Court basically said "amateur sports is illegal, go have fun". There are no rules because there literally CANNOT be any rules.
This only went that direction because the NCAA dug their heels in.

Had they allowed some form of legitimate NIL (not what we're seeing now) with real contracts, etc., all under the governance of the organization, it almost certainly never would have been challenged to the extent that pay-for-play became the norm.

Yet another in the long list of examples of the NCAA literally doing nothing to benefit the athlete or the sport as a whole.

To be fair, Sark was getting blown out. While we had a lead for parts of the game. Pretty different situations.

It also kind of felt like Sark benched Ewers just to give him a second to reset and come back out in the 2nd half but that's more of a guess on my part.

I do really hope Ty is getting more reps this week though.

I remember that as well. He sat on the ground and was slow to get up, grabbed at one of his shoulders (IDK which one). He hasn't been the same since.

I remember that also. Some speculate it is a hurt AC joint on left shoulder and some bruised ribs. Not sure if true, but DeBoer insinuated in today's presser (and Booker also) that Jalen is capable of playing through any issue he may have. I guess kind of like Carson Beck is playing through an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder. It hurts to play through injury, but lots of players play through injuries. Just depends on the severity, etc. That still should not explain the fact our QB has trouble reading defenses, seeing wide open receivers, etc. That does explain (if true) why he has not run much lately and seems to be more hesitant than he normally is.

Saturday would be a good time to let Ty get some game reps for experience. Give them both lots of reps with the 1's over the bye week and then prep for LSU. LSU is getting better each week, Bama isn't.
