Agreed should be rewarded for that ...
However, there should also be a reward for those Loyal to the team and not in it for the $$
If you think about it though your opportunity cost to go to the game is still ~$4k+ since you *could* sell your tickets on the open market.
I just look at it differently I guess ... Alabama football I am super passionate about!
I'd recommend against doing that. You usually spend too much and maybe end up buying like 30 lava lamps.
Those that go to the games as much as possible ... and don't just always sell the tickets. I was born and raised in Alabama, went to college there, and have had tickets since then. I have been blessed with tickets to the Championships some years and others have had to scrape for them
... This team just deserves the fans to be there cheering for them! They have had a crazy tough ride with injuries this year and deserve all the cheers we can give them!I understand that some cannot make the trip! I really do! I just wish those that know they cannot go.. allow other TP users to get the opportunity!

I’m weird. I’d rather watch in the comfort of my own home where I have access to a bathroom, food, and beverage anytime I want.
You have to expect high prices and many UGA fans willing to pay it when almost none of their fan base has seen them play for a national championship & we’ve been 3 years in a row. Special for them. Just another year for us. This is almost like a home game for them too.

And for $2k per ticket you can get that opportunity.
I think the realistic ticket price will be $1000 on Sunday/Monday. That is the same as it was for Bama/Clemson, Bama/Notre Dame, and Alabama/Lsu. People can ask 2000/3000 per ticket all they want, and sure their may be a few suckers that buy them. However most of these that I see posted are not selling. Right now, Stubhub is down to 1450.00 before fees, which has come down a good bit over the last few days.
You could, since you care that much, buy a couple or four of those overpriced tickets and ensure they don't go to Georgia fans by reselling them at face value to a long-time Tide fan or two here on Tidefans!i am thankful I can go .. just hate it for those who cannot
