Rant about tickets

First off ... I have 2 tickets.. and Face Value is ridiculous!
Secondly ... I was looking on Stubhub as I would love 2 more so my whole family could go!
I have been to the last 2 games and watched Clemson fans outnumber Bama fans .. and make way more noise!
PLEASE BAMA TIDE PRIDE MEMBERS ...
Sell your tickets to other Bama fans and bring the price down!

i have to say, if i had a face value ticket for this game, i would seriously consider selling it with the re-sale prices this high.

Honestly "bring the price down" is asking people with tickets to essentially make a donation to a random person. To some people it is worth it, but supply and demand dictates the market price. The demand is very high due to the location being very convenient for both fan bases and Georgia hasn't been to a championship in a long time.

That being said, if you would like to bring the price down and sell your two tickets to a Bama fan, I will be happy to take them off your hands

hahaha ... I wouldn't miss the game!! No matter the price they are selling for! I just hate so much that Georgia fans are going to pay to go and will swipe up all the tickets. It frustrates me so much to be so outnumbered!
Alabama fans have always been known to travel and support ... we are being shown up!

I have had extra tickets in the past that were going for big dollars .. I sold at Face Value to a Bama friend because I would hope someone would repay the favor one day!

I am all for selling for a profit when Alabama is not in play ... we have yearly tickets to the SEC Game. When we are there... we sell at Face! When not ... then we will sell for going rate

I guess I understand it .. but we will be majorly outnumbered since it is a home game for GA

Prices are out a sight and a shame...how does the “average” fan afford 2,000+ plus for a ticket, even without travel and hotel expenses? My wife tells me to go...I’m an irrational fanatic fan...but I just can’t justify the expense.

I agree. Money that would otherwise be spent on airfare, hotel, etc, can all be funneled to the ticket for the vast majority of fans interested in this game.

again , I understand they are doing it... However, Bama TIDE PRIDE members should sell their tickets to only BAMA fans! Or don't purchase them if not plans to go and let others get them. This just frustrates me to no end... I am an extremely passionate Bama fan and do NOT like sitting next to the opponent in the BAMA SECTION! Period!

i get what you're saying and pretty much agree. but deep down, i cannot fault someone for choosing to sell 2-4 tickets at a $1,500+ profit per ticket.

i almost went with my cousin, but he had to bail on the trip at the last second. iirc, stub hub tix were in the high $200s a couple of days out.

Keep in mind the University allotment is only 20,000 tickets. Sponsors, Falcons PSL owners, people buying VIP packages, etc account for almost half of the tickets in the stadium. Many of those are going to the highest bidder regardless.
