Bo will go, Damien will probably go. I wish them both luck if that’s the best decision for them, they helped Bama win a national title and several SEC titles.

Bama would have Jacobs, Harris, and Robinson returning.

Bama will have the best RB group in the SEC no matter who leaves.

I see both as gone to the NFL.
I think they will balance dollars vs glory and leave.

Thankfully our younger RBs got some playing time this year.

I think both the O and D will be fine with the folks coming back. We need someone to step up in the DB area and we should be back in the thick of things. Also player leadership is going to be crucial. We need someone to step up on the O and D lines to play the Robinson and Fluker role and get into folks faces to hold them accountable. As far as the RBs go, we have Jacobs, Harris, and Robinson ... I think we will be more than fine. We may need to add one more for depth purposes, but that will be one of our stronger positions going into next year.

My guess is they both leave and the main reason they both leave is because of how they were both under utilized this season. Now having the ability to look back on a full 12 game season there were more than a few occasions you could see (from sideline camera shots) and feel the frustration of both Bo and Harris on how they were being used. The staff is eating into their carries with incorporating Hurts into the running game. The carries are centered around Hurts. Our running game is centered around our QB. I hope they both stay. But we may go into next season very, very thin at RB from both a depth and talent perspective. Because if they both leave that is two BIG TIME backs that are now gone.
I remember seeing a few times in other games throughout the year where it looked like Hurts tried keeping the ball but the running back, yanked it from him.

Damien did that once last night that was obvious. He had a great run and was replaced by Bo on the next play. He was not a happy camper when he was replaced by Bo.

Dame and Bo are good as gone. Some NFL team is gonna be blessed to draft Harris because he never got as many carries as he deserved here for some reason I'll never understand.

You must not pay attention then. Damien has been in the top 25 players of several NFL draft scouts. Also, you don’t seem to have a grasp on how the NFL drafts and evaluates players. Has very little to do with numbers and production..
I believe I saw on the ticker yesterday that Kiper had Damien as his #4 RB. I certainly think Damien is gone and Bo may go. Some people are clueless.

Like most everyone, I think both are surely gone. I can't see any valid reason not to go.

Eight or nine carries a game is not going to improve anyone's NFL stock.

I just hope our other RB don't want to transfer. Bama is not a running back team any longer. I am not sure what we are but definitely not running back team.

We are a QB-running team without a true QB option offense, falling between two chairs...
Truer words have never been spoken. The way we've used the backs this year has been borderline criminal. Damien Harris getting all of 6 touches in the Iron Bowl was downright felonious. I've been shocked at how bad it's been down the stretch and the Iron Bowl was the worst of the bunch.

I just don't understand the transition we have made or are making from a philosophy standpoint. I saw this coming last year when we made this decision to start a DT QB. Last year it was probably our best option with the win now philosophy which I think is a good philosophy for our program. You owe it all the other players even more so when they are elite players.

Obviously after the 2013 loss to Auburn to a degree how hard it was to defend Cam, Tebow, Manziel, and Watson, coach considered that he had to make a change to help his defense somehow get more experienced playing this style.

But the only team that has consistently been in the NC hunt every year for the last decade has been us running a prostyle offense. No other team has had the same consistency because they have to recruit and develop a QB to revolve their entire offense around. Miss on the recruit = no offense.

I just don't understand the transition. Under this approach, we have to recruit a 5* DT QB every other year at least and fill out offense with 3*-4* WRs and RBs. I get the prostyle QB recruits are probably harder to find nowadays but it still the player the NFL covets. I really hope someone writes a book on this transition someday to explain it to me because I just didn't see the need going down this road.

I hate this RPO crap. I'd love to see a pro-style offense with the weapons we have. Wooo!

Don't play a hurry up offense against a hurry up team! Control the clock with a run game. Rest your defense. Where were our slants and screens? We need a short passing game to help the run when they are bringing 7 or eight.

A little bit devil's advocate here but if our coaches didn't feel comfortable using them more against Auburn, what does that say, at this time, about using them against NFL defenses?
