Route from Bham to the Barn

In your opinion, what is the best route to take from Bham? Planning on leaving at 7am. The last time I attended a game there was 1989.

US 280 should be good at 7:00 AM. Takes you right to Auburn - turn right on AL 147.

i also prefer the 280 route. 280 brings you directly into Aubren. all u need to do is make one turn once ur in the city limits.

Harpersville in particular. Speed limit drops to 45 for no apparent reason and there's always at least one local cop there waiting. I'm pretty sure the entire town is funded by speeding ticket revenue.

It's legendary how consistent they are.

You grow up in Lexington? I grew up in Anderson and Green Hill before moving to Birmingham in junior high.

It's legendary how consistent they are.

It used to be before their police chief was fired and the practices of their city court were declared illegal and the court itself was closed by the State Attorney General's office. The city police can and do still write tickets, but they all are processed and tried through the Shelby County courthouse in Columbiana.
The city of Harpersville no longer receives any fundng from traffic tickets written within their jurisdiction.
