LSU fans seems to be really worrying about Collins and he is trying to be an EE. I kept hearing that his GF will play a big role on his decision and the LSU fans are not happy about it. I saw a link to his twitter and there is a picture of him with his GF who is decked out in UA gear. She will be attending UA next year and if you follow the tweets those 2 are lovesick for each other. LSU fans seem to think if he goes to UA it is only to follow his girlfriend, which is fine, but I think he may be a little smarter than that. Either way I hope she can help. RTR

What? None of those LSU fans followed their sibling... I mean lover to a particular school? Give me a break.
 
I've heard that the main obstacle to LC landing at Alabama is his Mom, who is a huge LSU fan. But for what it's worth, Coach is putting the full court press on and really, really wants him. Hate to have to overcome a Mom.
 
recruiting the GF has been an age old tactic that tends to work. Craig James has said before that he would have gone to Alabama had we convinced his GF to come here, opinions of Craig James aside he would have been a welcome RB in the 80's.
 
Got a real good feeling about Landon coming to Bama. His gf that he is in mad love with got her acceptance letter from Alabama. She posted a pic on twitter of it. I think he is def Bama's to lose. Seem like he is tired of all the drama around him in high school and that he just want to get away. That helps us. His gf going to Bama helps us to along with having saban as our coach. I would be surprised if he ended up anywhere but Bama

Ok mods we now need to create an official Landon Collins Relationship Updates thread.:biggrin:
 
Collins and a stuf NT/DT and I'd be more than happy with our class. I know we are pursuing others as well, but DB and DT are the "need" spots left in this class. If Collins does work at RB instead, then I'd want someone like Belue or Cyrus Jones (or both).

I don't think either of those situations are a foregone conclusion. Williams could end up playing either WR or S at Bama and Collins could choose either Bama or LSU.

CNS told Williams after talking to him about playing WR that they would figure out the best position for him later on. CNS said for Williams to trust him that he would put him the best position for him at Bama. That still remains to be seen. I still believe that Collins will choose Bama but that also remains to be seen.

Hopefully this weekend McCullers will commit on his OV. All 370 pounds of him. 8)
