Looking for Saban's contractual monetary perks for winning the SEC Championship, SEC Coach of the year, etc. Just curious - Anyone know these figures?
Performance incentives in the contract include:
-- $400,000 for winning the Bowl Championship Series national championship game.
-- $200,000 for playing in the BCS national championship game.
-- $125,000 for playing in a BCS non-national championship game.
-- $125,000 for winning the SEC championship.
-- $75,000 for playing in the SEC championship game.
-- $90,000 for playing in the Chik-Fil-A, Cotton, Outback or Capital One bowls or their successors.
-- $50,000 for earning the Paul "Bear" Bryant or any of three other national coach of the year awards.
-- $25,000 for winning SEC coach of the year honors.

This is his original contract. Don't know if his new contract has similar payout structure or not, but I assume it does.
I wonder if they are incremental or individual. In other words, would he get $125k + $200k + $400k if we win on Jan 7th, or just $400k. :conf3:

Incentive bonus money is for losers or unproven newcomers. Saban (who took a pay cut to come here from the NFL) gets paid $4 million to implement The Process. Results are a byproduct.
