*****Once again, Saban ended his weekly radio show on Wednesday night with an impassioned plea for fans to make noise in Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday. There was no cursing this time, but the message was the same as when he made the request before the Mississippi State game.

"We need to make this a place they don't ever want to come back to again," Saban said to fans. "It had a tremendous impact against Mississippi State, and you can make the same impact this time. (The Auburn offense) still looks to the sidelines, they want to check plays, the more noise you make, the harder it is to do that."

I will be there doing my part tomorrow to be as loud as possible. We can make it even harder on their anemic offense by rattling their cages! RTR!!

Not throwing rocks at our fanbase, I'm just saying...

Isn't it sorta sad that our Head Coach has to continually ask our fans to get rowdy and loud?

I would offer this; considering what's transpired over the past 10 years with probation and changing coaches the fans wanted something to cheer about. I remember Florida's appearance here under subUrban Myers and the feeling was electric, I really expect the crowd to be the same. I think what the coach is looking for is consistancy of crowd noise and for fans to FINISH as loud as they are at the begining.

ROLL RIDE ROLL and rememebr to say ROLL TIDE after each first down

If Bryant-Denny isn't insane loud Saturday I'll be shocked! Biggest game of the season, and we'll be playing our biggest rival who has smoked us 6 years in a row! The stadium better be loud because we can really have an effect on Auburn's offense.

I don't think we have anything to worry about.

I don’t think so. Look, we as fans have had a rough time the last 10 years. Fans who grew up as a Bama fan during this time do not remember the fan base intimation that we older fans remember. Part of the process is not only the team, but the fans. I think CNS is correct is reminding us that we have an impact on the game. A dead crowd lessens the players ability to get up when they are tired and behind in the momentum department. A fire up crowd gives the team just a little more punch. While the players do the hard work, they do not just do it for themselves. They play for Bama and bleed Crimson. We as fans are a part of the Bama tradition. We may only have 1% of the process, backing the team and keeping the noise level high even if we can’t talk till next Saturday, but it is our part of the process. Ours, damnit! We are not LSU fans.

I was at the Ole Miss game and I saw how the team responded to the crowd. Think about the Oklahoma vs Texas tech game. If anyone thinks the crowd did not give a definite advantage to the Sooners, they need their head examined. This is what CNS wants and what the team needs. Scream till your lungs pop out of you chest and Ramp Lady looks like a mild mannered socialite at a cocktail party. RTR!

RTR! :BigA:You nailed it. Excellent post. Lets be loud and have BDS rockin'!

This is one game that I believe didn't need a calling out, it's a given that the crowd will be into this one big time.

I agree. If the fans at the game can't get up for this one, then what game will they get up for?? Also, while we as fans attending the game have a responsibility to cheer on our team, the team has a responsibility to give us something to cheer ABOUT. Tomorrow, I don't think that will be a problem...

Any of you who are going to the game and don't feel like yelling PM me. I'll gladly go make enough noise for two people.:biggrin2:
I plan on trying to influence the game through my TV. Can you yell loud enough for it to cause an audible return over the airwaves?

BDS will be insane tommorow. I bet it will rival UF '05. I can't wait, I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

If its loud as that game,it will be loud thats the best game ive been too,I think his comments are pointed towards them hand sitters y'all know who they are.I don't think Bryant denny has ever been tested before to see how loud and can be with the new seats, heck if any of y'all that don't want too make some noise sell me your ticks for reg price, I'll make up the difference in some noise and you can have a warm cozy recliner,I'll take the weather with the game:BigA:

Or LSU in '07 after Javy's punt return to give us the lead again. By far the loudest I've heard it! I still hate we didn't win that game, that play was our special teams version of "The Sack" or "The Catch" If we had beaten LSU, Javy's run would have gone down in history as one of those legendary plays. . . "The Return"

But the past is the past, I hope we're louder today than we ever have been. I'm tired of hearing about Death Valley in LSU registering on the Richter Scale. I want US to register on the Richter Scale, I want us to be the stadium opponents fear to enter. I want to be the best and we're the only ones who can make it happen, we gotta take control!
