Sean of the South

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

He seems like a good cross between musician and story-teller.
To me, it is really interesting the way Scottish & Irish music crossed the Atlantic and became something American.

I listened to him and you are right on target. His songs are one's that dominated the old South Christian music before WWII -- primarily in the rural areas. And there were a lot of rural areas and churches.

we love Sean in this house. He has fb pages where he writes stories. (Sean Dietrich and Sean of the South). We went to one of his shows a few years back and loved it. He has a podcast that goes back a few years and then there’s a hiatus period before he recently revived it. He grew up around South Alabama/FL panhandle region. Basically, he dropped out of school after his father unalived himself. Learned through the school of hard knocks. He’s quite the musician. Been on stage at The Opry. His writings can be seen on his fb pages, newspapers and magazines alike. He’s very relatable.
