SECCG Tiebreaker scenario mess

Here's my question (wishful thinking as it assumes wins against the Barn and whoever else is in the SECCG):

With the new seeding model NOT guaranteeing the top 4 seeds to 4 conference champions, does a 2-loss SEC Champion Alabama still get one of the top 4 seeds (and the bye plus the closer bowl assignment at the Sugar Bowl) over multiple non-conference champions with only one loss like UGA/A&M, Ole Miss, IU/OSU, and Oregon?

Ole Miss isn't losing to Mississippi St. Texas A&M is not losing to Texas. Case closed.

Ole Miss/Most likely Georgia VS aTm will be in the SECCG! Take it to the bank. We lost our chance deservedly Saturday.

I guess it will depend on how the remaining games look. Does Bama look dominate against Auburn and A&M or do we squeak out some ugly wins? Is the OSU vs IU title game a great thriller? Does Texas Tech blow everyone out the rest of the way? There are lots of scenarios that would keep us out of the top 4 even as SEC Champs.

Take it to the bank? I think Ole Miss needs a lot of help to get to the SEC title game.

Another POV....the way the committee ranks the teams and who plays, it may be more advantageous NOT to be in the SECCG and get a lower seed, play the first week rather than sit for a month and then play in the playoffs...last year all 4 top seeds lost in their first CFP game after the layoff....winning the SEC would be great though

So you are already conceding a loss to the Barn or you are assuming that Vandy will lose to Kentucky.
