Wherever he is, he's probably loving this whole deal.

He might well be, but i dont care what he thinks. (He certainly didnt care what we thought about his offense).

But we have become a laughingstock and the Aubies, the Vols, the Aggies and most everyone else in the nation is likely rolling with laughter at us....again.

It was clear to anyone with a clue that 2006 was going to be a down year for you all due to youth. No matter who you hire, 2007 will be a damn good year. Not sure why MM didn't see that.

For a Vol you do sometime make sense, and Bama fans often don't.

thank you volinarizona. you pointed out the obvious to a lot of tide fans. we fired a home bred student, player, with no head coaching experience, under severe probation, next to the death penalty, and he emerged last year with a 10-2 record, and a cotton bowl. then all the real fans pointed out that the tide may go 7-5 this year with the youth. well he missed it by one game. we outplayed the representative of the west, and i dont remember mike kicking or missing those extra points or field goals. we played big 4 on the road, tenn, florida, LSU, and arkansas. excellent recruiting years the last two. now we are looking for a head coach from among the 3d tier group. i still think jeff tedford of california would be a real good one.

He does doesn't he, we had a coach who made plenty of mistakes this year, and yes I was very frustrated that we regressed along the way. However, you would not find a coach who loved the U of A like he does, and if given time, he may or may not have become a great head coach, now we will never know. If we don't stop the coaching carousel, we will stay in mediocrity.

Am I PO'ed he was booted out the door like he was, your dang straight I was, he came in and has tried to right the ship and get us back where we all wanted to be, he was the only one if memory serves me correct that would come back and tackle this mess. That being said, I think we as fans need to take a step back and look at what has unfolded, we are a hard bunch to please, times have changed, hopefully now, we can get a head coach, proven or not, or an up and coming assistant to come and try to get us back where we want to be. Lets try to be patient with the next guy and not run him out in two to three years because we aren't competing for a MNC.

Coach Moore saw Shula's annoying little habit of making the same mistakes over and over again and refusing to even make an attempt to correct them. You need to understand that CMM has 7 NC rings, which I imagine is exactly 7 more than you have and he got every dang one of them without your help.

Matter of fact, there's no vile anywhere that has as many. Nuff said.

I'm glad the boards are not like that here. Reading all that smack talk made me a little angry. It would be hard to deal with that all the time.
