Link: Slive not sorry Kiffin's gone!

That didn't exactly enhance his popularity around the SEC, and it didn't improve when Kiffin threw around conspiracy theories about officiating after a controversial loss at Alabama, which prompted the league to give Slive the ability to hand out punishments for violations of the sportsmanship rule.

What exactly was controversial about the loss? Kiffin advanced his hair-brained conspiracy theory, but the truth that eventually came out was that once again Kiffin simply did not know the rules.

In some ways I'm going to miss that clown. I was hoping for at least a couple of years of humiliation and then an NCAA investigation for UT out of the Kiffin hire.

In addition to not knowing the rules, he also insinuated that the refs would find a reason to hand the game to Alabama. Or, at least, that was the pathetic excuse he gave when questioned about why he ran the ball at the end of the game instead of, you know, actually trying to win by passing down field.

He also tried to blame us for the head sets going out at the start of the game. Unfortunately for him, it came out later that his staff was incompetent and tried to plug every piece of equipment they brought into a single breaker and overloaded it.

Some credible posters on here believe that the headseat deal was intentional on UT's part. They benefitted more from that mess than we did.

Yeah, I'm sorry to see him go too... although I like Dooley, it was fun to watch Kiffy-poo run himself into the ground...
