So annoyed with the whining from the Ohio State fans ...

First off ... RTR!! So excited this team is in the CFP!! We are most definitely one of the Top 4 teams in the country!
Unfortunately for me, I live in Cincinnati in the heart of Ohio St country :(

I cannot even take the whining! They're screaming about our schedule and not playing in conference championship!

Here is my take ...

WE PLAYED FSU!! FRANCOIS GOT HURT!!!! I’m not sure why Ohio State’s schedule is just so much better???
Our FSU = their Oklahoma.
Yes they had Penn St, Mich St, and Wisconsin ... I’m sorry but to me that is our LSU, Miss St and Auburn. (I know ours are not as highly ranked .. but I’m not sure why those Big 10 teams are that highly ranked??)
They have Nebraska (horrible) = our TN,
Indiana = Vandy,
Army = Fresno St,
Rutgers = Arkansas,
Maryland = Mercer,
Iowa = Texas Am (which I think better),
Illinois = we haven’t played a team with that poor a record!


Amazing how they were completely okay with this last year when Penn St was left out!
And this whole Nick Saban quote floating around in regards to needed to win conf. championship to get in last year ... Please Ohio State fans go watch that press conference and understand this in its entirety! #fakenews

Okay .. rant over!!!

Let's go take care of business in NOLA and everyone will shut up :)!

To me if they really want to whine,they should whine about getting beat by 31 points to a subpar Iowa team. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Nick said it best, had we lost to a 7-5 team by 31 we would not even be near this playoff, basically losing to 7-5 Kentucky by 31. We would be lucky to be in top 15 had that happened.

Thank you. The playoff committee chairman said it in those exact words yesterday, too.

No doubt. Why should Ohio State get a pass ? Alabama would have been buried a long time ago if we had a loss of that magnitude.

LOL, I leave today for business trip to.... Ohio. Cleveland/Columbus in particular. Will be sporting as much Bama gear as possible.
Should be a fun few days!

One can talk strength of schedule and conference titles all day long, but a 31 point loss to an unranked team is glaring. A top 4 team does not have that ugly a loss.

Got weeks to kill before Playoff starts, got to kill some time LOL. My favorite was not fans being mad but the talking heads on TV. That was epic and worth the watch for once.

I'm not annoyed by it - I'm amused. It tickles me to death that people are ticked off that Bama is in the CFP.

The hate sustains me.

The media has to bridge the gap until the games with something, and controversy pulls in viewers. But fans are fans, and OSU fans are disappointed right now.

If Alabama had been left out, Alabama fans would be disappointed and many would be venting their frustrations in social media right now. That's what fans do. As close as this came, I would think that you guys would be more understanding.

I only have a couple of Ohio State fans around me, and they have been pretty quiet. So I have to be satisfied knowing that the aubs are stewing over the fact that they beat Bama and UGA (1 for 2), but they miss the playoffs, while we and the dawgs are IN!

That's one of the elements that makes being a Bama fan so fun, is the amount of mental and emotional real estate you own as a Bama fan. It warms my soul to know that we slipped in through the "back doe" and ruined everybody's Christmas.

I imagine it to be much like the arrogant, rich, boisterous uncle everyone had to put up with at Christmas for years. Until finally the aunt filed for divorce at Thanksgiving. The family rejoiced and everyone was looking forward to celebrating Christmas without the boisterous, self absorbed nut job. The family Christmas party came and everyone was cheerful, happy and beside themselves because they finally got rid of the crazy uncle. Then he and the aunt walk in and the room goes silent, only to hear their announcement of "WE'RE GOING TO WORK IT OUT!!!!" and then he makes a follow up comment of "And y'all (blankedly-blanks) thought y'all were gettin' rid of me!!! LOL!!! And gives them a big ROLL TIDE as he goes fixes himself a glass of Scotch.

I'm not trying to be "not understanding" ... I do get I would be very frustrated as well! I just am taking a beating here in Ohio right now :)

Lucky you! I’d be decked out every day. You should have a shirt made made that says, “JUST SHUT UP 55-24”. Have a great time. RTR
