The only thing that sticks out to me is DeAndrew White's numbers and catches. Considering he is non-contact its hard to decipher how many yards he actually got after the catch.

Yup..White had a solid day..Glad to see Drake have a solid day as well..I have a feeling he's going to put up some big numbers this year running the ball..

Anybody see the 13 for 19 for Blake Sims....wow....maybe we have overlooked this guy. Thats a winning ratio.

And congrats to D Henry for his first scrimmmage...looks like he might be a running back after all...lol

Rebuilt O-line must off had a decent day as well.

There's too much we don't know yet for that stat to be important. Typically, he has not run the pro set plays that AJ and the drop-back guys have...

White and Hart wore black jerseys but White was tackled after catches and Hart was involved in contact while playing as a defensive back. Fowler also wore a black jersey and was in on several plays but I do not remember him running the ball. Cyrus Jones started as a coverage corner and worked most of the time with the first defensive unit.

As for the new team members: Henry had several carries and did OK but didn't look in my opinion nearly as quick as TJ or Drake. O. J. Howard had one catch for short yardage but didn't seem to be be in on many plays. Jai Miller played a lot with the 2nd or 3rd defense. Like a lot of our d-backs he had some issues with our receivers. Felkins was involved on a number of plays and have several catches (one of which was on a poorly thrown ball). None of the new QB's were very sharp. Bateman probably got the most reps of the group. Leon Brown ran right tackle with the second o-line. I honestly didn't notice him good or otherwise during the scrimmage. Brandon Hill is HUGE. However, he may be the only player that I could compete with in a foot race.

This may be the best overall group of wideouts in the history of Alabama football.

Great info, thanks!!!

This is still college football and 13 for 19 with our defense and running game will win alot of games...in this league and alot of others. AJ is the man (and his numbers back that statement) and I'm not in any hurry to see who can step up to fill his shoes but I'm gonna give credit where credit is due BS had a good day.

Never said he didn't...

It really should be noted that scrimmage stats are for entertainment purposes only. We really don't have any idea who lined up against whom or what situations they ran, how the clock was managed, etc.

Best news is I didn't see any notes about injuries.

Yep...

My dad was at the scrimmage he had a few comments. Said drake busted a 70 yard td run where once he broke the los he just exploded past everyone. Yeldon was a terror in the open field juking people. He mentioned amari cooper doing that juke move where he is near the sideline fakes like he is going inside then breaks it back out at least 3 times. From his view it was hard to see the numbers on the big guys but arie and Shepard were with the 1s. Said the offense won the day.

I'd assumed so. That's really surprising because, during spring training, the defense is usually ahead...

. Said the offense won the day.
I would expect and hope so. Yes the O line is being replaced but other than that everyone is back and AJ does not have to worry about getting hit and the Offense usually has the advantage in drills. The new secondary has its work cut out trying to defend the WRs we have. Plus a new D line so I would expect the offense to win next scrimmage too and hope that by A-day the D is taking shape.
