Cole Cubelic has not left his primary roles, but ESPN and the SEC Network made changes to his broadcast pairings. While Cubelic remains the lead field/sideline analyst for prime-time games, he is now teamed with Matt Schumacker and Aaron Murray for the SEC Network's top games, following the departure of his longtime booth partner Jordan Rodgers. They haven't announced what role Rodgers will be in but he was "promoted".

You know, that is the deception. Yea, he is a hack and knows less about the actual game that most of our wives. But dude is smart. Learned early on that print media combined with a radio show created the content he needed, which was...to pit the passions of Alabama and barn fans against each other. He has talent as a bookworm and pseudo intellectual and still does the best interviews I've heard. But he is the quintessential pot stirrer that has the expert title in a sport he knows little about. Pretty brilliant really.

Finebaum would rather have Alabama go 8-5 this year than make a deep playoff run because Alabama in turmoil = more engagement, and it’s not just him, that goes for most of the media.

I also feel like he doesn’t like CKD because he doesn’t have access to the program like he did with CNS, not that he had that much but CNS didn’t mind speaking with him, CKD won’t give him the time of day, not that I blame him.

I really don’t like it as far as separating players from others with a NIL based marketing campaign.

But in this case it’s still different from LANK.

#4 used it as leverage against the Staff to secure his position on the field.

Straight up blackmail so a NFL practice squad player could keep a 1st Round Draft pick on the bench.

KR is the most talented QB on our roster by miles and is going to win the job legitimately anyway so in this case the NIKE backing doesn’t really matter in the end.

I know it has been beaten like the proverbial dead horse, but IMO everything concerning our success offensively this season hinges on that offensive line. Two talented but mostly unproven QB’s vying for the job. Whomever becomes the starter is going to need a solid, dependable run game to lean into while growing into the job. There is talent and experience at RB and Receivers. And there talent on the line. But there was talent on the line last year. But the guys never consistently played together “as a unit”. And that is thing. Can Klemm and these new assistants get them as a collective opening holes for the RB’s and giving Mack or Russell time in passing game? We can’t have Mack or Russell beat to death like Simpson was the last third of the season last year.

Given time I think the front seven on defense can be more than serviceable. Still a little concerned about LB depth. Secondary has a chance to be the best in the conference, and possibly top five nationally.

But everything to me depends on the Oline play.

Step one is not routinely having plays where one guy is bowled over, one guy blocks air, one guy tried to block three rushers, and one guy whiffs on air as a faster guy runs a circle around him, and the final guy looks confused and just stands there as a guy rushes right past him. It happened way too often.
