Tapatalk. Should I get it?

I read Tidefans on my iPad. Is it for iPad? What will Tapatalk do for me? it seems reviews have been pretty negative on a recent updated version.
 
Does it cost money now? I got it for free. It's cool, but not sure I would pay for it. But, I am not sure I would pay for any app.

It's free now. I got it when it costs.

For those trying to decide: I use it for my iPad and iPhone. Makes looking at threads easier. There are options to look at all threads, unread threads, or only threads I've participated in.
 
I finally downloaded it to my phone. It makes it easier to navigate...but I haven't figured out how to get to the other boards (like non-sports, high school etc).
 
I always chose no on it. But now you guys are convincing me otherwise.


I only use my Ipad and iPhone, so the Tapatalk makes it easier? I hate on the Ipad how I have to click in and out of the quick reply field, before I can reply.

Makes using the board on a mobile device much easier. The only negative is no blue font, emoticons or Thank/Like/Dislike.
 
I have been wondering the same thing for several weeks myself. I use my IPAD at home 99% of the time and didnt know if I should get it or not. Probably going to give it a try and see if I like it or not. What's a smart phone? :conf2:

Can you opt in/out of Tapatalk? Or once you get it are you stuck with it? I got a new phone last night and the only time I went to TideFans on it the Tapatalk thing popped up right away.

Hmm, not sure. I just downloaded it but I haven't signed in yet. I hope so, because I do like using the "like" feature.
 
Ok, I am using it now with this post.



Btw, someone asked how to find this forum. You go to the left of the screen and slide that menu out. It has "forums" listed on there. You can then use this non sports forum.

I am using my phone now for this. You can opt out if you go to the website as normal. The top shows the prompting of tapatalk. All you have to do is click the x and use the forum as normal.



Btw. I love this app already. Makes it so much easier on the phone.
