The Barn's New DC

Hiring your former boss and a man with more than 14 years as a head coach for a coordinator's position is a dumb move. Former head coaches don't take orders very well.

So, since it's the barn we're talking about, I'm all for it!
Don't we have 2 former Head Coaches on our staff?

I think its a good move

he will bring a solid defense to the stadium every weekend. In my opinion he should still be the HC at aTm.

Since tha Barn likes PEOPLE polls.........

maybe they should let the public vote on their new def. coach

Correct me if I'm wrong...

but didn't he run a 3-4 scheme at aTm for a long while? I know I remember seeing a bunch of the ags whine about Torbush's 4-3, saying they needed to go back to the 3-4. It seems like that D may not work as well in the SEC, due to the offenses being more run-first than some in the Big 12.

Yup. The DC and OC are both former head coaches, giving us three coaches who at one point had that position.

As usual, I'll have to agree with T'Mac. I think Slocum has far too much class for duh barn, however, that being said, RC is a solid coach, & would be a good pick up for au.
