I don't even want to watch it, because every time he does something on Bama's defense he rips it to shreds. I know the problems our defense has, so no need for me to keep subjecting myself to see it in slow motion and on replay. LOL!

He gives lots of praise that Wommack is now doing multiples and disguises.

Then we do that Cover 1 robber on 3rd and medium to long and give it up every time.

Doesn't understand why he's got Russaw dropping into coverage so much....he doesn't look comfortable and his strength is pass rushing. Said he can get home with speed or strength. Says he's our best player and should be rushing the QB all the time.

Wommack asking the LB's to do a whole lot. Double mugs, ILB's over the Center, reading handoff, dropping in coverage if its a pass.

We do cause a lot of chaos, but we leave lots of gaps and holes. He picked Bama to win in his other video, but said we were going to give up 4 runs of 30+ yards because of those huge gaps we leave open.

Plus he says they've made the changes to the D that they've been harping on during their reviews.

That we are "creasable" in the run game....and we aren't doing the Cover 1 Robber on every 3rd and medium to large, so we've changed that, but if we do it against Stockton we are going to get beat.

I think FGN was rather complimentary about Womack's better work. I'd say FGN sounds "cautiously optimistic" about Bama's chances against UGA.

I agree with you. I've been watching the films review by some guys on YouTube the last few days and I'm little iffy on what they see v.s. What coaches are seeing.

I'm sure the coaches see a lot of the same things when they do their film review. But keep in mind, hindsight is 20/20. Breaking down film after the game is a whole lot different than coaching in the heat of the moment, so to speak.

I've seen some of this as well - there are times that he projects that he knows the scheme and the calls, when I am not so sure he really does.

that said, I think he's right on the items below (especially the bold italics) as those aren't call centric, they're approach centric and don't really require knowing the specific call.

and frankly, that's all that matters in the end. I don't bother with videos regarding breakdowns on either side of the ball. I have my own eyes during the live game and I trust them to see the good and the bad.
So much fodder rehash over and over again. it gets nauseating.
