glad we have the circuit breaker. maybe we will get another press conference today since the moronic mango seems to think that worked last friday.
Their doing a task force briefing today and moved it from 10:30 to 3:30...the same time that his press conference was.

Honestly, this should have been expected. The Fed slashed rates which may help longer term but short term probably just reinforced a bunch of panic.

The good news - We filled up every gas can that we have - about 30 gallons. Probably saved about $20. What to do with all that money? Put it in the stock market? Hmmm.

We did it in case there are disruptions in the resupply chain since we live so far out in the boonies.

that jack ass was actually bragging over the weekend how his friday press conference moved the markets positive.
The idiot has never understood the fact that the market is a two edge sword that cuts both ways. People with a brain understood that the market was hugely overvalued possibly 25% to 30%, most of the world was at the end of a long economic expansion, monetary policy and fiscal policy (tax cuts) had run their course so a correction was inevitable. Now on top of that a massive global recession is upon us. He still does not understand that global funds are in a reallocation mode including massive hedging and having the Fed reducing rates will have no impact on that. It would be reasonable to expect that the market will way over correct to the downside.

Look! He has basically dug his heels in against testing and keeps insisting anyone can get a test. That's a lie. Everyone knows it's a lie. Obvious, open lying damages confidence in the government, the last things that's needed in a crisis like this...

Well, that's all fine and good but the question wasn't about what Trump has/has not done. The question was what has anyone else in DC done? What have the other politicians done to help?

The president and executive branch are responsible for the NIH and the CDC. You are deflecting.

He is the top of the pyramid and the buck stops with him, whether he likes that or not. It's difficult to know how the other pols would have responded, with there being no leadership at the top...
