The proverbial who else do we take ?

I know we see this all the time but this is an honest question. We have 12 commitments already and I keep hearing we may have no more than 20-22 spots at the most. When I look at who we have offered and we have offered some ridiculous talent how do we only limit it to just 10 more. Why could this not be a year we could take 28? Just dreaming about that. It's a great problem to have but my gosh how do we cut this down.

I want Trey DePriest, Jadeveon Clowney, and Cyrus the most. But I'm sure whatever Saban wants will be good enough.

We can't take 28 unless we have MAJOR attrition. We could sign 24-25 if we lose a good # to the NFL (as we expect to), but we don't have very many seniors so the 22 we can take is to stay w/in scholarship limitations. We could sign 28 if we knew some of the guys wouldn't qualify, but that's being unrealistic (the expectation of signing 5 guys we know are below NCAA academic standards).

Unless our coaches feel REALLY bad about our WR corps, I expect this latest commit to be our last b/c we still have to get some OTs and DL.

Probably J "Buck" Allen. Listed as an athlete but plays RB mostly. Got hurt his junior year but probably his recruitment will explode this year. At one time and I still think so now UA was his leader or at least in his top group.

I hope that we get all of the ones you mentioned plus Isaac Luatua,Clowney, and a couple of other surprises that we dont know about.

We should finish pretty darn high either way.

At this point I really have no clue, especially with the limited spots we have. The one thing I do know is I do not care because no matter who we land they will be outstanding. I could probably pick 30+ players right now that I still love to have and that is just based on the ones that have us in the sights, but with so few spots we might only see 8-10 more players and whoever that will be I am fine with it.
