Transfer Portal 2024

Depends on how bad things get in Columbus. If OSU loses in the first round, it will get very ugly. Lots of players might want out.

Day is hated in Columbus right now.
heard if he doesn't win it all Vrabel is making a play to be HC. ( rumor )

Also keep a eye on Branch from USC
( and poof its not going to happen lol )

Lastly Downs isn't a horrible kid man and his dad kind of forced a move. imo he would be open to coming back possibly

Didn't mean to imply he was a bad kid. His decision makes sense even though I hated it. Would juts expect he'd have an eye on the biggest payday at that point but I would be happy to be wrong.

I'd make it worth his time if he wanted to come back

As has been discussed, can’t see us winning a SERIOUS bidding war for……pretty much anybody. Just don’t have pockets that are competitively deep enough.

Correct, will miss on most bidding wars where its just about NIL.

Though We Do have the deep pockets....just not the willingness to drop the giant bags that we here about. Bamas philosophy has been keeping numbers manageable and keeping pay across the role on the team.

Bama continues to focus on selling "the process" and I'm comfortable with that....for now.

This must be where the role of a GM/Courtney Morgan comes into play. He seemed to do a great job assembling the Michigan roster that won the NC.
