Now's the time to call them dumb, which many are, not before an election.
And those same people don't forget. Because in four years the same people you're advocating calling "dumb" you're going to want their vote in four years. What a great marketing strategy. That's a big part of politicians and those involved in politics problems. I'm not sure when it started but the elementary school "game" of name calling to mass groups of people has ZERO productively for "your" cause and many times backfires. And according to several pundits (on liberal-leaning networks) that was definitely baked into a big part of this election. When name-calling becomes incorporated into the means of communication you can all but guarantee the message you're trying to convey is never heard.
It doesn't work on a personal level (one on one) or a corporate level. If you call me dumb in the present but want something from me in the future, you can bet your bottom dollar my circumstances would have to be dire for me to work with you. People who do this need to start waking up to how human beings actually function.
