That's fair.

I would say treat that part like tobacco where it can only be allowed in certain areas but that probably wouldn't help because MJ aroma for sure lingers much longer.
It's hideous (the smell). I used to think that hotels were dropping the ball by letting people smoke pot in their rooms.

But now, I'm starting to feel that the rooms and hallways stink simply because the people who smoke it never lose the smell.

My wife is starting on next week's grocery list in the Walmart app. She says that bacon is $2 more than last week, and ground beef is $2-$3 more. All in just 1 week.

Still waiting for Dictator Trump to lower grocery prices "on day 1". When he is done forcing the drug companies to lower prices for Americans, maybe he can force the food industry as well. Just send in his capos to rough'em up some.

My first baptism to the smell of burning rope was the first time I visited Amsterdam. At a time when it was still a felony here, it was being smoked openly and there were weed shops everywhere. It was 1969...

I was out in Boulder during the Summer of 2014, during my crazy post-divorce period where I was up for just about any foolishness. The woman I was dating at the time was a regular cannabis user due to her manic personality.

I always said during my college days that I would look forward to buying it legally. So I visited the pharmacy in Boulder, and came home with some hash oil.

I partook of a small amt. I didn't feel anything so I went to sleep. I woke up a couple hours later, and remembered why I never liked the substance. It hits people differently, but I certainly do not like it at all.

I ended up giving my hash oil to a medicine man on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Same woman was a frequent visitor up there. He also introduced me the wonders of peyote(he could dispense legally and had a Federal license). I liked that one-time experience much better. :D

So the important question is "Was she manic because she was a regular pot smoker or a regular pot smoker because she was manic?"

Crickets on the CDC shooter???? This dude obviously needs to take off the Democrat goggles. I have seen non-stop coverage of this since it happened. Unfortunately, for the loser that decided to exit this world like a coward, he was upstaged by the next loser who decided to shoot up a Target parking lot.

Of course, none of this will happen. Trump and his rich sycophants could not possibly care less about the average American, though the Democrat-haters will continue to deny the realty of the situation. Owning the libs matters more than their pocketbook (or America, for that matter).

White House announces more aggressive review of Smithsonian museums
In a letter, White House officials said they would review the Smithsonian’s exhibition text, curation, exhibition planning and collections, starting with eight museums.

The White House will launch a sweeping review of Smithsonian exhibitions, collections and operations ahead of America’s 250th-birthday celebrations next year — the first time the Trump administration has detailed steps to scrutinize the institution, which officials say should reflect the president’s call to restore “truth and sanity” to American history.

I will take it a step further. Why are the same drugs offered for our pets or livestock at 1/10 of the price?

For most anything, if you are an American, it's manifest destiny for you to pay more for anything and ultimately our government to pay more aka our deficit. American consumers are nothing more than conduits for transfer of wealth to corporate interests domestic or international.

I illustrate, the collective market value of the Fortune 500 is currently around $45T. Our national debt just surpassed $37T.

I posted a while back in a other thread the US was a net creditor nation in 1985. It can be argued every dollar of corporate wealth created since then was created at the expense of our government.

Rather than Congress doing the work of managing the nation's tax policy periodically raising and lowering tax rates and controlling expenses and facing the voters for the results of the same. Our leaders decided to outsource this to a shadow policy of inflation that we dont get to vote on and they direct the Federal Reserve do the best you can to manage inflation and Corporate America will make a pile of money exploiting the fact the US dollar was the international reserve currency.

Both our government and Corporate America (really Corporate America on both sides) have been hell-bent on bankrupting the very dollar you hold in your pocket...

I love how you always ask a question and then tell everyone they are wrong, and you have the answer. Why ask to begin with?

Prices are high because Big Pharma and insurance collude to keep the prices high in the US. You say choosing between death and paying is market demand? That's BS. Taking out personal loans, or racking up credit card debt to pay for your life-saving drugs is not "having the means" and is not a free market setting the price.

Prices are artificially kept high in this country because no one will stop them. The politicians are paid off to stay out of their way. If the free market were deciding as you claim, and cheaper options were available, people would jump at them in this country, and prices would come down. That doesn't happen because there are no other options, no "shopping around". You pay or die. That is not a free market.
