If this entire situation doesn't impress you the heck out of you, with regard to how Saban and Alabama manages student athletes and their health, nothing will. I mean, in September, we were talking about the schools with QB controversies, and how transfer rules would mean that athletes would be jumping ship and going to other schools at the first sign they wouldn't get playing time. Not only did Saban work in Jalen as much as Tua, though he didn't start, he got great reps, stayed relevant, and actually put up some decent numbers this year. And not only did Jalen stay, which says a HECK OF A LOT about his personal character, but he is now our starting QB.
Look at how good of a situation this Alabama program truly is in. As far as other programs go, particularly Ohio State and Clemson, this program sails well above the sea, while others have had to bail water from time to time.
