Tua's Knee

Saban just said Tua is going to practice today. Said he is probably better this week than last week. Good news!

Wait, I thought “shake back 1-3” was code for having his leg amputated ??? He’s going to practice?? That should be interesting [emoji23].

I am sure Butch Jones is a nice man, etc. It still seems weird seeing him in BAMA gear on the sidelines though. He may not be a great or good Head Coach, but he may actually have some helpful info on player tendencies, etc for TN game.

I wonder if he refers to it as “red team” gear?

Also none of our QBs have a tail

I'll tell you what, I'm still mad about the spot on the play that Tua slid on. The ball was 2 yards beyond the line to make when he began his slide! That was egregious!

And to top it off, I'm watching John Doe's breakdown this morning, and on the Henry Ruggs super fast TD on that got called back because D. Smith was holding... the Missouri DB had his hands and arms all up in Smith's facemask. Illegal hands to the face!

The refs just seem to get progressively worse. Alabama is so good we overcome them, but that doesn't excuse their ineptness.

Call cost Tua another 4 TD performance. Prior to this season, in their history, in 1249 games, Bama had QBs throw for 4 TDs in 13 games. Barely more than one every 100 games. Tua has 3 such performances in SEVEN games in 2018, and it should be FOUR!!!

Would love to see it, but in the first quarter as Alabama proceeds to bludgeon LSU so badly that they decide to just shut down the football program.

Haha you’re not on the Burrow bandwagon? Seems like a lot of tOSU fans are.

The practice report said Tua was doing drills in the viewing period, but Ruggs and Devonte Smith were not participating. We can rest both WR if necessary vs TN and get others more game experience, but we definitely need them both full speed for LSU.

I hope Devonte's hamstring injury is only minor.

hamstring injuries can be tricky.

Not worried about Ruggs, he came back and played against Mizzou so this is probably just precautionary. Smith however may be out until LSU - hamstrings are tough to predict as others have said.

The short video of Tua at practice is awesome. It shows Tua doing footwork drills. He is wearing the black soft brace and doing the work without issue.

Great news. I hope he sits out as much as possible Saturday though, to prevent possibility of getting hit (especially on purpose). Maybe play 1st quarter or even less. It is just too much of a risk, as the LSU game is what's important. I'd really like to see Jalen and Mac after that.
