After last year I could no longer take it either. We have been season ticket holders (and still are) for 20 years and the last time I refused to go was the Hobbs era. I kept our tickets but let it be known that I would no longer attend games until CMG was replaced (I am also not the only one judging by which seats have been empty while watching the games on TV). Living in Tuscaloosa we hear a lot of stuff that hasn't been aired publically that makes me think the FF button is being hit on the episode of "What Happens to CMG at the end of the year"? I believe a lot of folks who actually have a say don't want the episode to drag on much longer. At this point I have trouble believing CMG lasts until the end of the year. We'll see. I just want Bama basketball to be relevant once again because it NEVER should be.

On a side note I would think CNS would take a vested interest in seeing a vibrant Basketball program because it is great to be able to bring recruits to see packed houses at the school they are thinking of going to because Basketball is often one of the favorite sports of guys playing football. The last game I saw in person was the game where we were all chanting JULIO! JULIO! Better 15K do that than 3,200. Just sayin'.

Does that mean Julio plays b-ball. Is he going to be player coach? Whats next, swimming, baseball?

There's a CPB story that goes...When Wimp was hired to replace C.M., he went into Coach Bryant's office to thank him for the opportunity. Coach Bryant told him "Wimp, I didn't hire you...but I could've stopped it if I wanted."

I have the feeling CNS could do the same. He may not tell them who to hire, but if he wanted he could probably tell them who not to hire.

But CPB was the AD at the time.
