ADMIN NOTE: Two New Mods...

I would like to suggest (or make a motion :biggrin:) that the mods do some sort of "behind the scenes" thread in the near or not so distant future, to allow us "nobodies" ;) a glimpse into the life and duties of a tidefans moderator. Let me think about that for a fun thread. It has all the glamor and appeal of televised semi-pro bass fishing. :)

Brett doesn't let us use the jet but we have free use of the company rickshaw.

Welcome, Old Newbies...:). Hope you will remember all of us little people now that you've achieved such lofty status. ;) Just in time to help control the inevitable drive-by smack talkers. Now when they get shot down, we have a buzzard to clean up the roadkill.
 
Sorry for the delayed response. Just got back from a ride on the tidefans private jet. :biggrin: Man that thing is FAST!!!! Seriously, its been a busy weekend for me and trying to get all of my "honey do" lists done and over with before next Saturday. I've been told that certain things have to be done before next Saturday if I'm going into "laziness" mode for the next six months.


Ought to be a good season and be gentle. I melt in the rain. :)

Forgot the introduction:

I'm 32 years, married with two kids (3 yr old and 10 month old). I played baseball and graduated from East Mississippi Community College in 1996, moved to Shreveport, LA and graduated from LSU-Shreveport with an accounting degree in 1998. I'm currently an accounting supervisor and enjoy what I do.

I am honored to be a moderator and was flattered every color of crimson when asked. I will do the very best job I can and will definitely lean on the experience of the mods that have been doing this a while. This is a great site and hope that I can contribute to keeping it that way.

Thanks so much for the best Tide site available. To SD and BB welcome aboard, even though you've been here for years (now you're one of them). Heck with the jet, I want a ride in the rikshaw and Earle's wheelbarrow. RTR
 
I wouldn't wait on the wheelbarrow. One is full of stonemason's tools and the other is full of water and mud after the big rain band this AM. However, here's another pic of a bucket I could give you a ride in...

Congrats to SD and BB for your new responsibilities. I have read enough of your work to appreciate both of you and your dedication to this site.

Just another comment about the excellence of tidefans.com. I hold it in highest regards; absolutely the best. It took a lot of hard work to get there, due to the dedication of the Adms. and Mods to keep things on the high road.
