It won't happen on a significant scale. It never does in any industry. The discipline that leads to success is almost always dismissed by "it can't be that simple" logic, mainly because (1) folks really can't believe it is that simple; and (2) leaders' egos won't let them believe it because then all their grand strategies would be devalued. For examples, look no further than Urban Meyers' "infallible" (his description, not mine) spread option offense circa September 30, 2005, or the numerous airline attempts pre-2008 to beat Southwest Airlines with gimmick "airlines within airlines."What scares me is when other teams figure out just how simple CNS makes it they will copy it.
If I were changing Oregon, I'd recruit a big strong line, and run the ball till someone stopped me,
then I'd pass.
It takes a tougher team to do it this way, but you wouldn't be pushed around by Stanford...
Build a tough Defense... It's simple, if they don't score on you, your likely to win.
BTW: My advice would be to stick with the 'Standard' Green Uniforms.
