I didn't mean to sound too picky and I'm certainly glad that we finally have a decent (Alabama) tag here in Georgia. Just don't really like the "RT". I would much prefer an "UA" instead.
This thread is funny and lends credence to the joke about Alabama fans:
Q: How many Alabama fans does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Five. One to change the bulb and four to stand around and talk about how great the old one was.
When the current (elephant in the background) tag came out the hue and cry was deafening. Nobody liked it. The elephant has an earring. You can't tell what it is. It looks like the tag is dirty. The elephant is hokey. He's too big. He's too dark. He's too light. Yadda, yadda, yadda.
Now the old one is the best and the new one is again horrible.
For those who don't like the new tag, let's see an alternative. Go ahead. Put it out there for everyone to see. And comment on.

As I recall, there was a reason the state wouldn't give "UA". I think we were offered "AU" and turned it down.

To get this straight - do all UA tags have to begin with "RT" there? Here, if you don't ask for vanity letters, they began with "APP" with the older tags. I have "TIDHSV." If I gave up the Bama donation and tag, I could squeeze in "TIDEHSV." It's not right to impress you into RT," if I'm understanding that...
