Not sure we are going dancing. Might win one if we get in. Need some scoring help. Keep building CAG! Good job holding it together. Weed out the ne're do wells.

Not sure what you mean, we've been in for a while now if you've paid attention.
I'm still not happy with a moral victory.
Sad about Mitchell and his issues; his talent (with a good head) could have made a difference.
We gave a great effort today against a team that was launching 3s and making them. Our guys never gave up. We have got to get some more offense.
I don't think we need our players to become specifically a 3-pt shooters. We need them to be able to consistently hit shots outside of the paint. Even 15-20 footers hit consistently would cut down on defenses clogging up the paint. Today JM hit a couple of 18-20 footers, which are within his range. If we have more of those type shots that have a better chance of going in defenses will have to respect that aspect of our game and provide more opportunities for cutting to the basket.
I think these shorter jumpers would be easier for our players to master. Once they became comfortable shooting 15-18 footers gradually move back to 18-20 footers, then on to 3-pt shots. I do not think this will be accomplished by the tourney next week, but this is somtheing that all of the players should work on during the off-seaon. I know these shots are not as glamorous as the 3 pointer but they do get points, which is what we are lacking. Hitting a couple of these early in a game will give our guys confidence and probably some "and 1" opportunities.

Yeah, usually that part of practice.
This is a cool drill also!!!!
There just aren't that many jumpers in the 15'-18' range in a game. There are many more 3 pt opportunities. The only ways a short range jumper is available are when the defense has over-rotated or collapsed on the basket or a nice long rebound. Otherwise, the defense closes on them too quickly in college at the Div I level...We gave a great effort today against a team that was launching 3s and making them. Our guys never gave up.
