Game Thread: Virginia Tech vs Tennessee

Consistent officiating...same call as the Texas/Nebraska game...good call to add time back on the clock...of course, I'm rooting for the Hokies.

You don't see that cuts on 360.

Dangit, TD UT - 14-14.
Tyrod, be a little more careful with the ball late in the half. Tyrod was able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by throwing a stupid pick.
At least if UT pulls this out, at least I won't have to listen to Hokie fans talk about how they beat a great SEC team.

LOL Lane must not have watched the TX game. This has been a heck of a gameday with OK/Stanford and this game..

Edited to ask: My hubby and I were talking about it while they were getting set up after time was put back on the clock. What if TN didn't come back out..does the D even have to be on the feild? If VT set their players up on the line (I know the D doesn't have to be set) would TN get a penalty or could VT just run it in without a D on the LOS? Hilarity insues at TN if that could/would have happened.

No rule on a minimum number of defensive players - VT would have had an easy 8 points.

Dang it...THAT would have made Kiffin go Chernobyl! *sigh* It's a really good picture in my head, and the multiple scenarios (what could have happened) just keep on popping into my head.

Good Play calling on that drive. Bam! Holy shifty speed batman!

VT seems to be coming together now.
