Was O.J. Howard Alabama's greatest tight end? You youngsters may not remember but Ozzie Newsome played wide receiver at Alabama. If it wasn't Howard, who then was the greatest Bama tight end? College career only.
 
Can't remember his name, Colin? Just that catch Bama fooled Florida on for a TD in the 2009 SECCG.

Another position that doesn't even exist anymore, Fullback, I'd nominate Tarrant Lynch.

OJ Howard wSs the most physically gifted TE of the Saban era, but that's about it. He never lived up to his full potential. That championship game against Clemson made up for it, though.

I wonder if his NFL career would have been different if somebody like Belichick drafted him. He would've been perfect for some of their packages.

I believe he was listed as an end at Bama and Green Bay as well as the HOF.
