Doesn't ESPN usually give several different ways of watching the national championship game like pylon cam, crowd viewpoint, sec network version? I remember watching the so-called "Homer" version with Barrett Jones covering the tide from the sideline in 15. Does anybody else know if they will do that kind of thing this year and what if any the different options will be? I haven't seen any advertising of it mostly because I DVR everything and can't find any information on it.

Yes, I actually like the coaches film room and gmac will be on the Finebaum broadcast too. There is the Homer version as well . The good thing is you can go back and rewatch each version on ESPN and get different perspectives. It's one thing ESPN actually does right.

I think I will watch the regular version on championship day and dvr and the SEC network version to rewatch a few days later. Heck, I may dvr even more versions than that so I can rewatch our victory multiple times.

I have watched the Sugar Bowl multiple ways since Monday. If you have the ESPN app definitely search for it. I loved the Coaches Film room and Hometown radio the most. You can watch the whole game with Eli calling it. Plus, you have cameras on the two head coaches the whole game. So, I loved going back and watching Saban’s reaction to big plays.

Yes, the coaches film room do a great job of breaking down the plays. It's fascinating to hear other coaches analyze your team

That's what I'm looking for is where i can hear Eli Gold. I live in Kansas and miss hearing the game with him, plus I tend to mute most espn and cbs coverage due to the banter and annoying celebrations when the other team does anything remotely good. Is there a certain espn that will have that one or is it radio only? I can record up to 17 stations at once so I may just get them all.

I am not sure if the one with Eli will be on tv. I just know they have all of them on the ESPN App.

Being out here in NM, Hometown Radio on the ESPN website or app is definitely the way to go! Eli and Phil calling the game, coach cams and constantly updating stats at the bottom of the screen, and NO TV commercials. What's not to like? I'd rather hear Eli lay down the "Touchdown Alabama" call than Fowler or Tessitore bellowing away.

They can change it live as they go but usually they will have the live play on one screen and the previous play being broke down on another , it takes a little getting use to but I put two TV's side by side, I had the coaches film on one which had it's on split screen, and the hometown version on the other with Eli calling the play
