B1G = Big 10 in one 3 digit brand trademark. B1G says Big 10. In the word "Big" the 1 replaces the i. In the number 10 the G replaced the 0.

The conference name and brand is still the Big Ten, stylized to B1G.

So it’s sort of a way to give a nod to the BIG10 but without numbers at the end so that it doesn’t matter how many teams get added the ‘Brand’ stays the same w/o having to change the numbers every time another team is added?

I’m genuinely asking because I don’t remember how the name change went down.

It's the only game I pull for Auburn as well. Can't stand UGA. Be nice if both could lose, but that won't happen. Rest assured, when I pull for them they ALWAYS play like doo-doo.
