Thanks to my hippie parents, I would sit around and listen to old 60's and 70's rock albums on 45's as a kid. Loved the crackling noise albums made. I grew up with cassettes and CD's, but boy do I miss playing those albums on that huge record player we had!

Nice weather to be outside yesterday. This song came on radio and made a nice day in the South even better. It has one of the best used references to Alabama Football that you will find in any song...

Here's one that was featured in the movie "Taxi Driver".

Title track from Browne's third album in 1974.

If you get a chance to check out the list of guest performers and background singers on this album, it's quite impressive.

Including Beth Fitchet (of "Honk" fame). Honk opened for The Beach Boys back in the 70's on several of their concert tours...when Dennis and Carl were still with us.
