What type stove do you cook on?

Not what brand but Gas, Electric, Wood, campfire in front of a cave, etc.

My main cooking source is the trusty old gas stove and oven.

I'd rather be cooking on gas, but unfortunately, I'm stuck with electric. To me, that's like my gas grill compared to our old charcoal grill. Just not the same ....

Electric but gas is my favorite. It took a while to figure out electric, it keeps on cookin' after you turn the burner off.

After the big snowstorm of 93 and out of electricty for seven very cold days we switched over to gas and never looked back. It seems food cooks a little faster with less heat if thats makes any sense. Not only do we cook with gas we now heat with gas with or without electricty.

For Christmas I got a new stove with the smooth top. I LOVE IT!!! It is neater, gives more room and it is not hard to clean. Many say "I thought they were hard to clean", no.. just buy some of that stove cleaner "Cerama Bryte" and rub a little harder than normal.......... Did I tell you I love my smooth top? :cool2:

Well my stove is electric but I find myself cooking much of the time in that "stove/oven" the rotates and goes DING when it's finished. :smile:

Me too and I love it! I had one for 20 years or more, and never had a problem with it. Then I moved to an apartment and couldn't take it with me. THEN I moved to a condo where the going thing was a stove WITH the microwave. Sorta nice, but it "died" last year and I immediately bought another stove with the smooth top. Don't want anything else.

Same here. We just bought a new house in November, and the builder's placed a smooth top in it. I love it. If you spill anything, just wipe it up!

We have a flat top...I LOVE IT!!!! Use a scraper and anything comes off!!!!!
