What's your job?

Full timer at Florida State University. Social Work major.

Bryant-Denny gets a lot of flack for not being loud, but once you've been to Doak-Campbell, you know what a passive 80,000+ feels like...every game. I attended the UF/FSU game last weekend, and while it was pretty loud, there is still nothing like a game at Alabama. The fans want it more, and that is a fact. You can feel it.

Switcher/ Federal Express (ok, ok, ok, I back the trailers into the dock :biggrin2: ). Guess I'm in the blue collar crowd as well!

I love model railroading and before my last move have belonged to a couple of model railroading clubs which had very nice and large club layouts to run our trains on. My first interest was Southern and Norfolk Western steam era but later moved up into the intermodal era and Norfolk Southern I used 1992 as my cutoff date. I also have some CSX, Seaboard and Union Pacific engines along with a few lease units, its a very interesting hobby. I loved the Norfolk Southern emblem, it reminded me of Ferrari.

Nice!! Is that a military orchestra or civilian?

Cheers to all those in the Armed, Police and Protective Forces!

Blue Collar, White Collar. I wish those distinctions would go away. It's up to everyone to realize it's all BS.

Well, after receiving my music degree from Alabama, I did not know what I wanted to do. I was looking at joining the Boston or Birmingham Symphonies. But, then this offer came up, and I did have to go through basic training to join the Army in order to get the part. I never tell people that I'm "in the Army" though. Not because I'm not proud of it, but because I don't want them to get the wrong idea and think I'm a hero or something. I'll never be in danger of being sent over....well not never...but something would have to be REALLY wrong for them to send violinists out to Iraq with guns, don't ya think?? Haha

Mr Mom and full time college student! I used to be in sales, but after the last layoff, I decided to go back to school. And it is cheaper for me to take care of the kids during the day than to work.... that is kind of sad, huh? I am a Junior at Athens State working toward a degree in Social Science/ Secondary Education.

CrimsonAudio -

Just took a look at your site, terribly impressive! My band is in the slow process of finding a local studio/mastering house to help us with an ep.

Unfortunately i'm not the one in the band with tech knowledge insofar as audio is concerned, but i do help the one who is pay for all the equipment. We recently purchased a 'quad' as detailed on that gearslutz forum, all set with protools, cables everywhere, etc

Impressive list of bands you have there!
